
Description
Under the Ministry of Education and Training, a government organization Sebenta National Institute (SNI) is classified as a Category “A” Public Enterprise (MoET). The primary goals of the SNI are to provide non-formal (alternative) education, vocational skills, and basic literacy and numeracy to children, youth, and adults in the Kingdom of Eswatini who are not enrolled in school.

Vocational Skills Training
- Sewing
- Carpentry and Joinery
- Blocklaying and Plastering
- Fence Making
- Plumbing
- Computer Literacy
- International Computer Driving Licence

Non-Formal Education
- Non-Formal Primary Education– For those who have never attended formal schooling or who have left school early, Non-formal Primary Education was established as an alternate route to education. Additionally, it gets students ready to take the Eswatini Primary Certificate (EPC) exam.
- Non-Formal Upper Primary Education– After finishing the Post Basic English programme, learners enrol in the programme and take the Eswatini Certificate (EPC) exam. These students in the formal school system wrote the same exam.
Basic Literacy
- Siswati and Numeracy– The course is intended for people who have never been involved in a formal educational setting. This course has a 12-month duration.
- Basic English and Numeracy– In addition to teaching students how to read and write in Basic English and Numeracy in English, this course gives students the chance to acquire English as a second language. This course has a 12-month duration.
