Lubane Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Ltd is a financial service provider that came into existence in 1977, founded by a collective of employees from the Eswatini Electricity Company (E.E.C). These individuals united with the aim of starting a Savings & Credit Co-operative Society. Presently, the Society operates under the regulation of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA).

School Fees Loans

Members must save for school loans in order to be eligible for them, which means they must commit to saving money for school each month.
The whole basis for the school fees loan is regular savings. Savings at the school serve as collateral for the school fees loan; they are not always used to determine eligibility.
There is no cap on school fee loans. If a member can repay the loan within a maximum of 18 months, they can borrow as much as their entitlement allows.
Prospectus for the school or institution has to be attached.

Emergency Loans

The maximum payment is E150000.00, spread out over a full year.
The emergency loan is subject to the same conditions as the development loan.
It is predicated on regular savings.
The branch secretary is required to write an extra letter outlining the application’s emergency.

Loan Insurance

Every loan that is obtained has life insurance. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

Funeral Scheme Insurance

It is an option to participate in this programme voluntarily. Up to six family members are covered under this policy. This sum must be paid by interested members at the start of the Lubane fiscal year, which occurs in July.
