Services Provided By Eswatini Housing Board
Rental Units
Eswatini Housing Board is mostly well-known for its Mobeni rental apartments, which are reasonably priced. A portion of these apartments were built in 1989 to provide Emaswati residents who resided outside the industrial settlements with a more convenient place to live near their places of employment. They continue to represent the diligent Liswati who gets up early every day to earn a wage in an effort to provide a better home for their family.
There are 1034 residential units total as of right now, 453 in Mbabane and 580 in Matsapha. In 2010, the Eswatini Housing Board expanded the number of rental flats by building townhouses, or four blocks of eight units each, at Mbangweni. These townhouses provided additional living space while maintaining safety and security.
Institutional Housing
His Majesty King Mswati III first announced the Institutional Housing Project (IHP) in a 2009 speech marking the start of parliament. The project’s initial goal was to reduce the backlog of housing for civil servants. In order to address the acute housing shortage in the civil service, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (MHUD) was instructed to assist in the provision of institutional housing for government employees.
Property Sales
For many years, Eswatini Housing Board has been a major player in the housing market, offering high-quality products and services to help Emaswati people own their homes. In various parts of the Kingdom, that is, EHB has established a number of townships and estates. Numerous people call Mbangweni, Makholokholo, Helemisi, Nkhanini, Woodlands 1, Thembelisha, and Mabuya home.
